Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) and the host Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), saw North Surry's soccer squad knock off Surry Central by a count of 4-1.

The Greyhounds (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Starmount North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 2-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Golden Eagles battle the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a Foothills 2A battle, on Friday, April 11. Surry Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 6-0 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
