In Tuesday's league contest, the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) soccer team edged the host Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), by a count of 2-1.

The Pirates now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dixon for a Coastal 3A bout on Friday, April 11. Swansboro will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-0 league win over West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Richlands moves to 9-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to play the Cougars in a Coastal 3A bout on Thursday, April 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Croatan won 3-0 in their recent league bout against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)
