Virginia High School Baseball - Staunton edges Stuarts Draft

In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Staunton Storm baseball team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Stuarts Draft Cougars.

The Storm (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Wilson Memorial Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 3-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cougars face the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 10. Stuarts Draft will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Bison enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
