The Burley Bobcats softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Wood River Wolverines to 3 in the Bobcats league win on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Falls for a battle on Friday, April 11. Burley will confront a Bruins team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID). The Bruins record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Wood River moves to 0-3 on the season. The Wolverines host Pocatello (Pocatello, ID) to confront the Thunder in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Thunder come into the battle with a record of 1-0.
