Fans at Tuesday's league test between the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) and the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), witnessed West Brunswick's lacrosse squad hold off South Brunswick by a count of 8-7.

The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mideastern test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Laney nipped Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 15-7, in a league test.

Next, the Cougars battle the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Thursday, April 10. South Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 8-4 record after their 15-1 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
