Tennessee High School Soccer - Smith County knocks off Monterey

The Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN), 6-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Owls now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a A District 5 bout on Thursday, April 10. Smith County will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to White County (Sparta, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Monterey moves to 1-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Upperman (Baxter, TN) to play the Bees in a non-league bout on Friday, April 11. The Bees go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Upperman lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN)
