Texas High School Softball - Amarillo bounces Tascosa

April 8, 2025: Amarillo, TX 79102

The Amarillo Sandies softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Tascosa Rebels to 8 in the Sandies league win on Tuesday.

The Sandies now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lubbock for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 9.

With the loss, Tascosa moves to 16-20 on the season. The Rebels travel to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a 5A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, April 11. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 22-4. Lubbock-Cooper won 9-6 in their recent league battle against Caprock (Amarillo, TX)
