South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 26-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Elgin improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Storm travel to Lake Park (Roselle, IL) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Friday, April 11. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 8-0. Lake Park won 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL)

The Tomcats now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Westmont for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. Aurora East will play a Sentinels squad coming off a 18-1 non-league loss to Plano (Plano, IL). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-2.
