In Tuesday's non-league test, the Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY), by a tally of 17-5.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY) in a Mid Hudson Athletic test, on Wednesday, April 9. Spackenkill will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 8-0 league loss to Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY).

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Chester (Chester, NY). The Hambletonians go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Chester was routed by Sullivan West (Lake Huntington, NY), 10-5, in a non-league test.
