The Mountain Lakes Lakers softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Boonton Bombers to 6 in the Lakers league win on Tuesday.

The Lakers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lenape Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, April 11.

With the loss, Boonton moves to 1-5 on the season. The Bombers travel to Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 2-2. Whippany Park lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ)
