The Cabot Panthers triumphed over the host Jonesboro Hurricane softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR) in a 6A Central challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Cabot will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Wampus Cats enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 7-2 league win over North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR).

The Hurricane (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Little Rock, AR). The Tigers enter the 6A Central challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Central was routed by Bryant (Bryant, AR), 11-1, in a league challenge.
