The Mountain View Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles to 3 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brooke Point for a Commonwealth battle on Friday, April 11. Mountain View will confront a Black Hawks team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Hylton (Woodbridge, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 2-3.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 10. Colonial Forge will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Red Wolves come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 26-0 league loss to Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA).
