The Coosa Christian Conquerors softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Gaylesville Trojans to 2 in the Conquerors league win on Tuesday.

The Conquerors now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay-Chalkville for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Coosa Christian will confront a Cougars team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Gaylesville moves to 0-9 on the season. The Trojans travel to Crossville (Crossville, AL) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 0-10. Crossville lost 17-0 in their recent league battle against Sardis (Boaz, AL)
