In Tuesday's league match, the host Evans Eagles softball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Simpson Broncos.

The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their match against Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA). The Hornets go into the C District 3 match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Hornbeck was routed by Ebarb (Noble, LA), 11-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 10. Simpson will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 7-6 record after their 10-0 league win over Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA).
