The Harding Academy Lions softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting First Assembly Christian Crusaders to 16 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. George's for a D II-A West 6 battle on Wednesday, April 9. Harding Academy will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, First Assembly Christian moves to 0-5 on the season. The Crusaders host St. George's (Collierville, TN) to confront the Gryphons in a D II-A West 6 battle on Thursday, April 10. The Gryphons come into the battle with a record of 2-6. St. George's won 6-0 in their recent league battle against Harding Academy (Memphis, TN)
