North Carolina High School Softball - Forestview bounces South Point

April 8, 2025: Belmont, NC 28012

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) and the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), observed Forestview's softball team get by South Point by a final score of 11-7.

The Jaguars (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen go into the non-league bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, Cherryville tipped Burns (Lawndale, NC), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a Big South 3A bout, on Thursday, April 10. South Point will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 20-0 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
