Alabama High School Softball - Fruitdale sneaks past Millry

The Fruitdale Pirates softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Millry Wildcats to 14 in the Pirates league win on Tuesday.
The Pirates now possess a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarke County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. Fruitdale will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Millry moves to 11-9 on the year. The Wildcats host Thomasville (Thomasville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, April 11. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 24-6. Thomasville lost 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Northside (Northport, AL)
