Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), 7-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Gordo improves its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 10 bout on Thursday, April 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-15. Carbon Hill lost 9-8 in their recent non-league bout against Oakman (Oakman, AL)

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 9. Northridge will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Curry (Jasper, AL).
