In Tuesday's league test, the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Heidelberg Oilers (Heidelberg, MS), by a tally of 23-0.

Next, the Rebels clash with the Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 8. Richton will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 10-10 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Salem (Tylertown, MS).

The Oilers (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Collins (Collins, MS). The Tigers go into the 2A Region 8 test with a 0-3 record.
