In Tuesday's non-league test, the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), by a count of 12-7.

Next, the Knights meet the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 10. Las Lomas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Pride go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 19-0 non-league win over Bethel (Vallejo, CA).

The Pirates (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Falcons go into the Bay Valley test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Freedom was routed by Livermore (Livermore, CA), 10-0, in a non-league test.
