The Malvern Leopards overwhelmed the host Mills University Studies Comets softball squad by a count of 21-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Leopards meet the Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 11. Malvern will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Miners go into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Maumelle (Maumelle, AR).
The Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Cobras go into the 4A Region 5 South challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Fountain Lake toppled Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR), 10-2, in a non-league challenge.
