In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines softball team scored a nice 29-0 victory over the Marshall Hilltoppers.

The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Bluejackets go into the Freelance match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Hibbing was routed by Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN), 14-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 11. Marshall will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
