The Mundelein Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees to 4 in the Mustangs league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stevenson for a North Suburban battle on Wednesday, April 9. Mundelein will confront a Patriots team coming off a 5-3 league win over Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Zion-Benton moves to 2-1 on the season. The Zee-bees travel to Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to confront the Scouts in a North Suburban battle on Wednesday, April 9. The Scouts come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Lake Forest lost 22-5 in their recent non-league battle against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL)
