Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), 2-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Orestimba improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Warriors host Hughson (Hughson, CA) to play the Huskies in a Trans Valley League game on Thursday, April 10. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 11-6. Hughson won 7-2 in their recent league game against Escalon (Escalon, CA)

The Indians now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Sonora for a Trans Valley League game on Thursday, April 10. Ripon will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-12.
