Alabama High School Softball - Slocomb sneaks past Pike Road

The Slocomb Red Tops softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Pike Road Patriots to 6 in the Red Tops non-league win on Tuesday.

The Red Tops now possess a 11-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dale County for a non-league match on Thursday, April 10. Slocomb will battle a Warriors team coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Providence Christian (Dothan, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 18-9.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Charles Henderson Trojans (Troy, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 10. Pike Road will attempt to better on its 14-20 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 5-7 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Providence Christian (Dothan, AL).
