In Tuesday's league match, the host Pioneer Diamondbacks softball team scored a nice 20-0 win over the Sharyland Rattlers.

The Diamondbacks (17-5) will now prepare for their match against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors come into the 5A Region IV District 31 match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Rowe notched a victory over Sharyland (Mission, TX), 6-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rattlers battle the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 match, on Friday, April 11. Sharyland will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Sabercats come into the match with a 9-8 record after their 14-4 league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX).
