Texas High School Softball - Whitewright bounces Sam Rayburn

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX) and the visiting Sam Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX), observed Whitewright's softball team get by Sam Rayburn by a tally of 13-8.

The Tigers (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Ector (Ector, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region II District 11 bout with a 5-7 record.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Collinsville Pirates (Collinsville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 11. Sam Rayburn will attempt to advance on its 11-12 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Dodd City (Dodd City, TX).
