The Caldwell Chiefs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees to 1 in the Chiefs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rumson-Fair Haven for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. Caldwell will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-1 league win over Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, St. Benedict's Prep drops to 0-5 on the year. The Gray bees host Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ) to play the Knght Paladins in a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. The Knght Paladins go into the test with a record of 6-2. Paramus Catholic won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ)
