In Wednesday's league bout, the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH), by a score of 12-0.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet bout, on Friday, April 10. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 22-3 league win over Waterloo (Atwater, OH).
