The Ashley Screaming Eagle baseball squad (Wilmington, NC), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC)

With the triumph, Laney moves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Midway (Dunn, NC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, April 13. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 4-5. Midway lost 15-6 in their recent non-league contest against Princeton (Princeton, NC)

The Screaming Eagle now possess a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 14.
