Northampton Blue Devils (Northampton, MA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA), 13-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Northampton improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Ludlow (Ludlow, MA) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Friday, April 10. The Lions enter the game with a record of 4-0.

The Golden Eagles now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host West Springfield for a non-league game on Friday, April 10. Central will play a Terriers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Monson (Monson, MA). The Terriers record now stands at 0-5.
