Ohio High School Softball - Rootstown bounces Wickliffe

The Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH) softball routed the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH), 6-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Rovers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkshire for a Chagrin Valley - Valley outing on Thursday, April 9. Rootstown will encounter a Badgers team coming off a 24-1 non-league win over Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Badgers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Wickliffe moves to 2-2 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Kirtland (Kirtland, OH) to encounter the Hornets in a Chagrin Valley - Valley outing on Thursday, April 9. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Kirtland lost 11-1 in their recent league outing against Crestwood (Mantua, OH)
