The Bowie Bears crushed the host Austin Panthers baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Bears now possess a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host El Paso for a 5A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, April 12. Bowie will face a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Andress (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.
Next, the Panthers face the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, April 12. Austin will attempt to move on its 1-19 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 10-10 record after their 11-5 league win over Jefferson (El Paso, TX).
