The Chapin Huskies baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Jefferson Silver Foxes to 5 in the Huskies league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies (10-10) will now prepare for their match against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region I District 1 match with a 1-19 record. In their last match, Austin was overwhelmed by Bowie (El Paso, TX), 11-1, in a league match.
The Silver Foxes (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region I District 1 match with a 8-10 record. In their last match, Burges was overwhelmed by Irvin (El Paso, TX), 5-0, in a league match.
