McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN), 8-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, McCracken County upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN) to battle the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, April 16. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 12-7.

With the defeat, Christian Brothers falls to 13-4 on the season. The Purple wave travel to St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN) to battle the Eagles in a D II-AA West test on Monday, April 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-16. St. Benedict at Auburndale lost 18-3 in their recent non-league test against Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN)
