The La Cueva Bears baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers to 7 in the Bears league victory on Saturday.
The Bears (15-1) will now prepare for their match against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers go into the 5A District 2 match with a 11-7 record. In their last match, Piedra Vista tipped Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 10-6, in a league match.
The Panthers (11-9) will now prepare for their match against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the 5A District 2 match with a 13-1 record. In their last match, La Cueva tipped Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 8-0, in a non-league match.
