The Maxwell Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Twin River Titans to 6 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Central City/Fullerton/Centura (Central City, NE). The Kernels go into the non-league match with a 10-0 record. In their last match, Central City/Fullerton/Centura edged Fairbury (Fairbury, NE), 18-1, in a non-league match.
The Titans (1-8) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul/Palmer (St. Paul, NE). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, St. Paul/Palmer edged Thurston-Cuming County (Bancroft, NE), 6-1, in a non-league match.
