The Sandia Matadors baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Eldorado Golden Eagles to 2 in the Matadors league victory on Saturday.
The Matadors (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Albuquerque was overwhelmed by Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 13-8, in a league match.
The Golden Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens go into the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Rio Grande edged Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a league match.
