Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI), 12-11 in a league battle.

The Chargers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Hope for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, April 12. Chariho will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.

In their next game, the Oakers clash with the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Tuesday, April 12. Coventry will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Clippers come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 14-7 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).
