Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 11-9 in a league battle.
The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lemont for a South Suburban battle on Monday, April 11. Plainfield North will clash with a Lemont HS squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Wednesday, April 13. Normal Community will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
