Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, April 15.

With the loss, Hall falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Princeton (Princeton, IL) to face the Tigers in a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, April 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Princeton won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)
