New Mexico High School Softball - Manzano bounces Rio Grande

The Manzano Monarchs routed the visiting Rio Grande Ravens softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Saturday's league battle.

The Monarchs (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Highland was routed by East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 17-2, in a non-league battle.

The Ravens now possess a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Albuquerque for a 5A District 5 battle on Saturday, April 16.
