The crowd at Saturday's league match between the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) and the host Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), saw San Angelo Central's softball squad nip Midland by a count of 3-2.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they host Permian for a 6A Region I District 2 match on Thursday, April 14.
With the loss, Midland falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Permian (Odessa, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, April 12. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 6-9. Permian lost 8-3 in their recent league match against Abilene (Abilene, TX)
