Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 31-1 record. They take the field next when they host Natchitoches Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. Pineville will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Ouachita Christian falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Airline (Bossier City, LA) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 17-8.
