The Jasper Pirates crushed the host Alpena Leopards baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bergman for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 13. Jasper will face a Panthers team coming off a 14-4 league loss to Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 1-11.

Next, the Leopards face the Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR) in a 1A Region 1 East bout, on Friday, April 19. Alpena will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
