The John Paul II Catholic Saints baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots to 1 in the Saints league victory on Tuesday.
The Saints (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC). The Chargers go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain match with a 16-3 record.
The Patriots (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Generals go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Wayne Preparatory Academy was overwhelmed by Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC), 11-1, in a non-league match.
