The Aztec Tigers baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Shiprock Chieftains to 3 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots go into the 4A District 1 match with a 1-12 record. In their last match, Miyamura was overwhelmed by Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 13-8, in a league match.
The Chieftains (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the 4A District 1 match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Bloomfield was overwhelmed by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 9-3, in a non-league match.
