In Tuesday's non-league game, the host St. Clairsville Red Devils baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Brooke Bruins.
The Red Devils (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Huskies go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Harrison Central was edged by Beaver (Lisbon, OH), 11-3, in a non-league game.
The Bruins (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Big Red go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record.
