Arizona High School Baseball - Cienega nips Buena

Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ), 8-7 in a league test.

With the win, Cienega upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Bobcats host Desert View (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Jaguars in a 5A Sonoran test on Thursday, April 11. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 11-11. Desert View lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Nogales (Nogales, AZ)

With the defeat, Buena falls to 11-12 on the season. The Colts host Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to battle the Apaches in a 5A Sonoran test on Friday, April 12. The Apaches come into the test with a record of 10-8. Nogales lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Marana (Tucson, AZ)
