The Marquand-Zion Tigers crushed the visiting Central Rebels baseball team by a count of 16-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 11. Marquand-Zion will face a Knights team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Potosi (Potosi, MO). The Knights record now stands at 11-7.
Next, the Rebels face the Ste. Genevieve Dragons (Ste. Genevieve, MO) in a Class 4 District 2 bout, on Thursday, April 11. Central will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Dragons go into the game with a 6-4 record after their 9-4 non-league win over North County (Bonne Terre, MO).
